The Next Turn of the Spiral

Whew, what a ride in our human experience. Each day seems to bring new plot twists and challenges to navigate in a world that continues to unravel. I'm grateful for the wisdom of the season as the beauty of autumn teaches us the art of gently letting go.

On Monday I learned that Red Mountain Resort is closing for redevelopment. The resort will remain open until November 26th, however my last day will be November 1st.

While we've known this was a possibility once it changed ownership, the reality has been heartbreaking to take in. The past days I've felt all the things –– concern for my livelihood, deep grief, and the unsettledness of the unknown.

Red Mountain Resort has been the primary home of my healing practice for just over 9 years. It's not lost on me that in numerology 9 represents the arc of completion. It's where I first connected with many of you during your visits over the years. It's been a sacred space for healing, transformation, and the deepening of my practice.

Teaching the same classes each week for years is a unique opportunity. In a world where we're constantly encouraged to innovate, redesign and repackage courses, the steadiness of teaching new groups each week allowed me space to consistently practice, refine, and cultivate a level of mastery and understanding of energy medicine that I don't know I would have come to any other way.

I don't yet know what the future holds for my vocation. I'm taking a cue from the leaves that are starting to change color and surrendering to this turn of life's spiral.

I'm clear that I will continue working through my private practice, Brilliant Beautiful Life, over Zoom and  in-person at my home. I hope you'll continue to reach out for private sessions and I may also offer some multi-week classes both virtual and in-person, stay tuned.

In whatever way the spiral of your own life is wending its way, may you feel a measure of grace in this season of change. I encourage you to step outside and let the wisdom of the earth remind you how to surrender and release so you can access the threads of the new.

My gratitude is deep and there really aren't words to express how wonderful it's been to be with so many of you in classes, among the red rocks, in sound journeys, and healing sessions at the resort. I know the magic and medicine will live on in our hearts and the impact of time spent there will continue to flow through our lives ✨
